We stayed at Lion Tree Top Lodge for 4 nights early in January 2022 and we will definitely stay there again. From the word go that Lynn met us at the reception we felt like we belonged at the lodge.
The staff was great and the Bush Walks were the highlight of our day. Coming close up to Giraffe on foot made us realise just how large these animals really are and with Donald’’s knowledge of the bush we were captured!
We enjoyed every meal and one could tell the food were made with love!

What a stunning lodge! The Tree House we slept in was incredibly comfortable and clean.
We loved our visit to Lion Tree Top Lodge so much that we promised Brian, the Owner, that we will be back next year again.

My husband is South African and we visit family and friends every Christmas. At the start of our trip we treat ourselves to a holiday before catching up with family and friends in Jo’burg. This year we were fortunate enough to have been told about Lion
Treetop Lodge and to spend 4 days of our holiday there. We cannot recommend this experience enough.
The accommodation is lovely, not luxurious as such but unique in every way. As well as an inside shower and a sunken bath there’s also an outdoor shower from which I watched zebra and buck walk by whilst showering!
The beauty and uniqueness of Lion Treetop Lodge is that you’re in a nature reserve where you can walk by yourself and see beautiful animals wander by. We walked every day and came across giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, monkeys, impala and my favourite – the dung beetle – plus others.

Exceptional The peace and quietness and the whole bush experience, The staff were very welcoming and very friendly people.
Chef Tinyiko was very friendly and her food was great, Lynn and Brian were very good host and they welcomed us with warm and open arms , it really felt like we were at home with family.
